• Yoga in Halesowen and Stourbridge •
Scaravelli inspired Yoga is a stress free, though demanding form of Yoga suitable and beneficial to everyone. The primary focus in the Scaravelli approach is to release tension from the body and gain length throughout the spine. Being attentive to the breath and gravity we create the conditions in the body that free the spine and allow the body to rediscover its own fluid nature. This is not your usual Yoga class!
Vanda Scaravelli trained with T. K. V. Desikachar and B. K. S. Iyengar. With Iyengar’s blessing she went on to develop her own unique approach which she describes in her inspirational book Awakening the Spine. When the book was first published this approach to yoga was described as ‘revolutionary’ and still is.

Classes are run on a half termly basis throughout the year at both venues, please contact Corrina to book. Class sizes are limited due to the nature of how I prefer to teach. Yoga Classes are run as short courses with varying themes woven into classes throughout the year.
• Summer | Satya – Truthfulness| June – July •
Satya is the Sanskrit word for truth and refers to being truthful in one’s thought, speech, action and feelings! In Yoga, satya is the virtuous restraint from falsehood and distortion of reality in one’s expressions, expectations and actions. Can we embody our Yoga practice in such a way, that we attend to the truth of our experience? The truth of what we are sensing in our bodies? To enable us to return to the truth of who we really are.

Monday 7.30 ~ 8.45pm. This class is a revitalising class, suitable for those in all round good health with some experience of Yoga or a similar body awareness routines. Sun salutations and classical Yoga poses are practiced with vigour that arises through familiarity with Yoga postures.
This course runs June 4th ~ July 9th, 6 weeks, £60.
Tuesday 7.00 ~ 8.15pm. This is a nurturing class, suitable for everyone in all round good health. Sun salutations and classical Yoga poses are practiced in a way to restore strength, stability and freedom of motion to the body.
This course runs June 5th ~ July 10th, 6 weeks, £60.
• Our Lady and All Saints Church Hall, Stourbridge •
Wednesday 7.45 ~ 9.00pm. This is a nurturing class, suitable for those in all round good health with some experience of Yoga or a similar body awareness routine. Sun salutations and classical Yoga poses are practiced to cultivate a deep sense of connection the body and move in ways that nourish and replenish.
This course runs June 6th ~ July 11th, 6 weeks, £60.
